Support The S.H.E. College Fund

You have three different ways to support the mission and work of the S.H.E. College Fund. You may make a gift to support student scholarships through The Kim Rosen Scholarship Fund. You can also help us expand our reach and impact through The S.H.E. College Growth & Innovation Fund and The General Fund.

Your gift, whatever the amount, is guaranteed to change the life of a young woman in Kenya. She will use your gift to transform the story of women and girls in her tribe and beyond. Her daughters will be empowered. Her mother and aunties will be empowered. Her people will be inspired by the power of a woman in full bloom.

In this tumultuous world, what a joy and comfort it is to be able to offer oneself to a mission that is undeniably a win-win for everyone involved!

The Kim Rosen Scholarship Fund

The power of collective giving.

Join our global community of donors who are supporting young Maasai women, who have said no to FGM and child marriage, to pursue higher education, find good jobs, earn a living, and uplift their families and society.

Il-órerén means ‘community’ in Maa, the language of the Maasai people.

The Kim Rosen Scholarship Fund is specially designed for a community of donors who:

  • want their gift to go directly to supporting scholarships for S.H.E. students;

  • are passionate about accelerating enrollment of female high school graduates from Safe Houses in Narok County – the homeland of the Maasai – in post-secondary degree programs;

  • believe increasing the number of educated women changemakers will contribute meaningfully to the economic and social well-being of their families and thus to local development;

  • recognize the wisdom of il-órerén, the Maasai concept extolling the resilience of ‘community;’ and,

  • can imagine – or already believe in – the power of collective giving.

How do I contribute to The Kim Rosen Scholarship Fund?

Choose a giving level that’s comfortable for you.

Mum Kim, You dreamt big, and you said to us – these young women from the Safe Houses – you can do it! We think it’s incredible that people who have never even met us believe in us and are willing to help pay our college fees. We are so grateful for you and for your love and support. Sylvia, a S.H.E. Student
